Admission requirements

To enter the Tournament, you must:

  • be an undergraduate student in a university program leading to a Bachelor's degree in human resources management, industrial relations or business administration with a specialization in human resources management.
  • at least four of the five students on the team must have completed no less than 30 credits in one of the above programs.
  • be registered for at least nine credits in the current session or recognized as a full-time student by the university.
  • submit proof of university enrolment (timetable, invoice or attestation).
  • be a student affiliate of the Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines agréés (membership is free of charge).

The following students are ineligible:

  • students who have held a full-time position formore than six (6) consecutive months in a human resources department as a manager, professional or technician;
  • students who have held a part-time position (less than 20 hours/week) for more than twelve (12) consecutive months in a human resources department as a manager, professional or technician;
  • studentswith more than three (3) years full-time work experience in a field other than human resources management or industrial relations.

However, also eligible are:

  • students who have completed a training period or periods, including a COOP program, as part of their undergraduate program;
  • students who have held a full-time summer job (during the summer session) in human resources management or industrial relations;
  • students who have worked part-time (less than 20 hours/week) during the academic year for less than twelve (12) consecutive months as a human resources professional or technician.
